Brent is the visionary behind BackBeat Sound Design. His passion for music led him to venture in a new direction when starting BackBeat Sound. His dream was to bring quality sound recording to Chattanooga in a new and affordable way, making the dream of professional recording a reality for more musicians.

Brent graduated from Greenville College in Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts degree, studying music, music business, and sound engineering, among other things. After college, Brent and his wife, Liz, moved to Chattanooga, TN where they now reside with their daughter, Ruby. After years of pursuing music as a side career, BackBeat Sound Design has become Brent’s full time passion.

Brent has worked on a variety of projects in every genre which serves to bring a new perspective and vision to every song he produces.
